Taxus (English Yew)
English Yew makes a classic evergreen hedge. Seen in all the best country houses yew hedging is a little slower to establish but is well worth it. It is dense and evergreen and over the winter bears red fruit for hungry birds. Teach the children that the seeds are not to be eaten. They do not like sitting in wet soil but are fine for all other situations and soils requiring clipping only once or twice a year. If you can’t wait we supply in larger sizes.
